MarCi and her husband, Steve, have two boys attending Cora Kelly: Isaac in 3rd Grade and Jacob in 1st Grade. Our boys love to swim and ride horses–and count as many buses and trucks as they can see!  We are very active and committed to our school, church and neighborhood communities and believe in mutual respect for all.

Katie and her husband, David, live in Lynhaven with their two boys, a 2nd grader and a Cora Kelly graduate. She’s worked at nonprofits with a focus on supporting youth and families and volunteers as a reading tutor. You’ll probably see the family out and about in Alexandria – riding the DASH bus, loading up at the library, or cheering on the sport of the moment.

I have been an Early Childhood Special Education Teacher for ACPS since 2001. I earned my M.Ed. from the University of Virginia and am a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Working with children with special needs and their families is very rewarding but my true joy are my three children.  We live in Del Ray and I have been teaching at Cora Kelly for the last 12 years. It has been wonderful to watch the community and family engagement at Cora Kelly soar!

Bonnie and her husband, Joey, have two kids in ACPS, with our cool Cougar 5th grader and high schooler. We have lived and volunteered in the neighborhood for more than 12 years. Bonnie works in communications and membership at a nonprofit, while Joey works in design, and we all enjoy crisp, cool mornings at ASA soccer games. We also have pet rabbits, which our kids will mention whenever possible.
