We are hoping to get nominations for new PTA officers at our April 20 meeting. We will hold elections at the May meeting. At present, we only have a candidate for secretary, so please step forward so we will have a PTA next year! Email corakellypta@gmail.com to volunteer.
In order to have a PTA, these officers are required:
- President- Public face of PTA, determines priorities & focus, coordinates
- Treasurer- Keeps track of money, pays expenditures, presents monthly reports
- Secretary- Keeps minutes at meetings
Other officers that we’re seeking are below. We hope this gives space to more volunteers who may want a smaller role:
- Vice President of Development – Raises money
- Vice President of Communications – Manages social media, website, flyers, etc.
- Special Education Liaison – Advises on inclusion, connects families
- PTAC Liaison – Link between PTAC and CK PTA
- Various Committee Chairs – Reflections, Hospitality, Clubs, Special Events
